Hiya, Ashlee!
Thanks for bringing your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. I’m sorry you had trouble with linking your Disneyland Resort
theme park tickets into the
Disneyland app. For help with tickets and other information, I recommend
calling the Disneyland Resort at (714) 781-INFO or (714) 781-4636.
As you said, the instructions in the Disneyland app indicate to look on your tickets for an 18-digit ID number to manually enter into the app. I checked some tickets that I kept from several years ago and noted that they do indeed have 18-digit ID numbers. However, a more-recent ticket that I had from earlier this year actually has a 22-digit ID number. If your tickets happen to also have a number that is longer, hopefully, it will work instead.
I didn’t happen to notice any of my tickets having a 16-digit ID number. Though that is the number of digits found on a Disney Gift Card. So, just in case, I think it might be worthwhile to check the
Disney Gift Card website and enter the ID number you have on your ticket to see if it just happens to be a gift card instead of a theme park ticket.
While you are readying for your Disneyland Resort digital experience, I also recommend downloading the free
Play Disney Parks app. My family likes to answer trivia questions in Play Disney Parks while we wait for
shows to begin. And the included
Star Wars: Datapad is the perfect tool to help you
live your own Star Wars story during your visit to
Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge.
I hope you have a magical time at the Disneyland Resort, Ashlee!
