Hello, Crystal!
Welcome to planDisney and thank you for stopping by with your question. I am so excited to hear that you will be joining the
50th Anniversary Celebration of the Walt Disney World Resort in just a few weeks. There are so many new experiences created just for the celebration. Your taste buds can join in the celebration too just follow the
50th Anniversary Sips & Bites Guide, giving you a road map to all the special treats and cocktails available.
My Disney Experience will allow you to share and make plans with anyone connected to your
My Family & Friends list. You do not have to be a Guest of a
Disney Resorts Collection Hotel to use this service. If your family members already manage their own My Disney Experience accounts, you will need to send them an invitation to connect to you. To invite them, sign in to your account and click on the
My Family & Friends tab, scroll down to the bottom of your list and tap
+Add a Guest. Select that you will add them by adding their name and age, enter the information, and when asked, enter their email address. Your family member will receive an invitation to share plans with you. Once they accept, you will be able to see each other’s plans. You can also assign theme park tickets to each of them.
To link theme park tickets, click on the
My Plans tab and hover over the
Park Tickets button, and click on
Link Tickets. This will allow you to enter the confirmation number or Ticket ID number in the space provided. Click next to assign the tickets to your respective family members and then confirm your assignment. Once you have all your tickets assigned, you will need to make sure that everyone has a
Disney Park Pass reservation for each day they plan to visit a theme park.
You can make park reservations by hovering over the
Park Reservations button and clicking on
Make a Reservation. Select all the members of your travel party who need a reservation. Select the date and the park you are planning to visit and then confirm your selection. Repeat this process every day of your trip. Your family members staying off-site can access their admission tickets by using
Disney’s MagicMobile service. This will allow them to use an iPhone, Apple Watch, or any Android device with Google Pay. You can set up MagicMobile passes in the My Disney Experience Mobile app. Open the app and tap the 3 horizontal lines in the lower right corner, select the Disney
MagicMobile button and follow the prompts to create a mobile pass for anyone in your group. Save the passes to your Apple Wallet and then share them via iMessage. This MagicMobile pass will work exactly like a MagicBand, allowing you to redeem Lightning Lane experiences and add PhotoPass Photos to your Memory Maker accounts.
See ya real soon,
Andrea
