Hiya Rachel! Welcome to planDisney!
I'm excited to hEAR you are planning to attend a
Disney After Hours event in the new year! I'm happy Walt Disney World has decided to bring back these popular events to both the Magic Kingdom Park and Disney's Hollywood Studios starting in 2023! Since you have already purchased your tickets, let's discuss how to link them properly to your My Disney Experience account.
When you purchased your tickets, you should have logged on to your
My Disney Experience account to complete the purchase. In this case, your tickets should already be linked to your account. If not, you should have received an email with a confirmation code included. To link them, log on to your My Disney Experience account and select "Park Tickets" followed by "Link Tickets". Enter the unique confirmation code to link them to your account.
To view them on the My Disney Experience App, tap on the three horizontal bars on the bottom right of the screen followed by "Tickets and Passes". Since this is a special ticketed event, they will not show under your Future Plans for your upcoming stay. If you want to add them to your itinerary for viewing purposes, you can do so by selecting "Add More Plans" on your computer. On this dropdown, click on "Notes" to add the After Hours event to your Future Plans. I did this when we attended Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party since this event did not show there as well. It helped keep a friendly reminder that we had something scheduled for that day.
Rachel, you are going to have an amazing time attending Disney After Hours. In addition to riding multiple attractions with short wait times, there are also some treats and snacks available to you during this event. Make sure to stop and grab a Mickey Bar or popcorn as you are making your way around the park!
Have a magical vacation, Rachel!
