If I link my tickets to another adult's acct to create a party, can I still manage my own day or does the other adult get assigned manager permissions? I want to do some stuff separately and link my credit to my acct but not give it to friends.

Hey there, hi there, Stephanie! Welcome to planDisney. We are so glad you are here to ask us a question.

It sounds like you are getting ready for an exciting visit to Disneyland Resort so very soon! You can most definitely link your ticket to another Disney account of a Guest in your party. This will allow that Guest to make, cancel, and modify your theme park ticket reservations, and a few other things. You will still have your ticket linked to your account and have full access to do as you need with your ticket through the Disneyland app.

I have my friend's ticket linked to my account and vice versa because we frequently go to the parks together. This lets both of us make park reservations for each other, but more importantly, makes using Disney Genie+ easier. This allows either of us to make a Lightning Lane selection for both of us in one transaction rather than us both trying to sync the times up separately. Linking your ticket to someone else's account will not give them access to your Disney account or your linked credit cards.

Stephanie, I hope this information helps you figure out the best way to navigate the parks with other friends. If you have any other questions for future visits, stop by again!

Meet the Panelist: Carrie, California

Well hello friend! I'm Carrie, a work-from-home mama and military wife who currently calls sunny San Diego home. We love that we are close enough to Disneyland Resort to make a last-minute trip to see the Mouse quite frequently. You'll find us in the parks braving drops and coasters to work up our appetite to take as many snack breaks as we can fit in! I love helping my friends plan memorable trips to Disneyland Resort and can't wait to help you too! Learn More About Carrie
