How do I link my tickets to my account and make reservations

Hello Lolita, welcome to planDisney! It sounds like you're all set with your tickets and ready to make park reservations, how exciting! You're just a step away from an incredible vacation at the Walt Disney World Resort. I'm here to help you make sure everything is linked correctly so you can continue planning your vacation!

I'm assuming you bought your theme park tickets through the Walt Disney World website, which means you already have a Disney account. However, if you haven't created one yet, you'll need to do that first. To sign in or create an account, go to the Walt Disney World website, hover over "My Disney Experience" in the upper right corner, and scroll down to the bottom of the list. Once you're signed in or have created an account, you should see the "My Plan" screen. Here, you'll find five circles for the major planning tools: Family & Friends, Resort Hotel, Park Tickets, Park Reservations, and Dining.

Start by hovering over "Park Tickets," select "Link Tickets," and enter the ID number associated with each ticket (you'll find examples of where to locate the ID number on the same screen). If you purchased the Park Hopper or Park Hopper Plus, you no longer need to select the park you want to visit, as park reservations for date-based tickets have been discontinued. However, park availability is subject to capacity limits.

Once your tickets are linked to your account, I recommend building your Family & Friends List by hovering over that option and selecting "Add a Guest." Your Family & Friends List will allow you to manage or share your vacation plans throughout your stay, which is perfect for booking Lightning Lanes and making Individual Lightning Lane attraction purchases!

If you purchased Disney MagicBands+ for your visit (which I highly recommend), go to the main website, select "My MagicBands and Cards" under MyDisneyExperience, and scroll down to "Link a MagicBand." Click "Link," and you'll be taken to a screen where you can enter the ID number located on the back of each MagicBand/MagicBand+. My family loves using MagicBands (or MagicBands+) for easy navigation at Walt Disney World. They can unlock your Disney Resort Collection hotel room door, tap into your favorite theme park, enter Lightning Lane queues (if you purchase Genie+ or Individual Lightning Lanes), and even be used as a form of payment for meals or merchandise!

If you have any more questions about your upcoming visit to Walt Disney World, please don't hesitate to reach out to us at planDisney, or you can ask me another question directly!

Hope to see you real soon!
