If I link all the tickets to my account in order to make reservations, will my family be able to access the tickets on their own devices (enter the park and virtual queue without me)?

Heya, hiya, Robert! Welcome to planDisney!

Oh boy, a trip to the Disneyland Resort in just a few short months! That's the perfect amount of time to let your imagination soar and fine-tune all those little details for a practically-perfect-in-every-way vacation! I'm absolutely delighted to help answer your question about linking your tickets.

It's such a convenient feature that the Disneyland mobile app allows you to link tickets for your entire party. It’s a great way to manage your family's adventures—incredibly handy when you're exploring the parks with a whole crew, just like yours! You've already taken an excellent first step by linking all those tickets to your own MyDisney account, which is ideal for keeping everything organized.

Now, for your family to be able to access those tickets themselves—to head into the park or join a Lightning Lane queue without you needing to be right there—they'll need to link those very same tickets to their own individual MyDisney accounts. No worries if they haven't set them up yet! It's quite easy to sign up and only takes a few quick moments to create their own profiles.

Once each family member has their MyDisney account set up, here's how they can link the tickets. They'll just  need to open the Disneyland app on their device, then tap the menu (☰) button at the bottom right. From there, they'll select "My Tickets & Passes". Then, it's just a quick tap on the blue plus (+) sign in the top right corner, followed by "Link Tickets & Passes". They can either use the "Camera" tab to scan the tickets' barcodes, or for those who prefer, manually enter the ID numbers on the "Type ID" tab.

Once every member of your group has those tickets linked, they'll find them waiting right there in the Disneyland app on their personal devices. This means they're all set to scan in at the parks' entrances or redeem those coveted Lightning Lane selections if you've added that feature to your tickets.

And here's a little pro-tip for more adventure flexibility! While you can certainly make Lightning Lane selections for your entire party all at once from your device, a fantastic benefit of everyone having their tickets linked is the option for each member of your family to make individual selections or selections for smaller groups! This is particularly great for when your crew has different attraction preferences—some can brave Space Mountain while others enjoy a peaceful cruise on "it's a small world". It helps ensure everyone gets to experience their favorite parts of the Disneyland Resort at their own pace!

I truly hope these tips help your family easily access their tickets and enjoy all the wonderful magic that awaits, Robert! If any more questions come to mind as your visit approaches, please don't hesitate to visit us again here at planDisney!

Wishing you a memorable and absolutely enchanting vacation!
