Hey there! Hi there, Keake! I am thrilled to welcome you to planDisney and help you get ready for your trip to the
Most Magical Place on Earth.
It sounds like someone purchased
theme park tickets that are now in their
MyDisney account, and you need to link them to yours. You can do this online or in the
My Disney Experience app. I'll share both methods so you can choose the best option for you.
First, you have to be connected as "Family & Friends." If you are not already, go to "
My Family & Friends" on a web browser and select "+ Add a Guest." Then, you can follow the prompts to connect by entering the other person's name and email address. They will receive an email invitation to accept the connection.
The person with the tickets can log into "
My Plans" and scroll to "My Plans, Reservations and Tickets." Open the "Tickets, Passes & Memory Maker" tab to find the list of tickets. Next to each ticket, there should be a "Reassign" button. They can simply select your profile from the drop-down box, and the tickets should
automagically transfer to your account.
On the My Disney Experience app, you can connect by going to the main menu (the "≡" at the bottom of the screen), scrolling to "Profile" and selecting the "Family & Friends List" tab. Find "+ Add a Guest" and follow the prompts for the options to connect.
To link tickets on the app, select the "My Tickets & Passes" tile from the main menu. The tickets should appear at the top of the screen, and you can scroll right to left to find the right ticket. Select "Reassign Ticket" and pick your profile to transfer the ticket.
