Welcome to planDisney, Rosario! Your
admission is such an important part of your vacation because it's your ticket to the magic. Linking your admission to your
My Disney Experience account is crucial, especially now that you'll be using the
Disney Park Pass system to reserve entry into the theme parks for each day of your trip, so I'm happy to walk you through exactly what you need to do to make that happen.
If you're sitting in front of your computer, you can
visit this page and click on the button under "Tickets". You'll be prompted to enter the ID number from your tickets, and the page has lots of helpful photos that will show you exactly what number you need to use. If you're using the
My Disney Experience mobile app, tap on the main menu button in the bottom right hand corner of the screen. If you scroll down a bit, you'll see a link that says "Link to Account". When you tap on that, you'll see a link that says "Link Tickets or Passes" and if you click on that you'll be brought to a page where you can link your tickets. I prefer to use the app to link my tickets because it has a scan function that lets you add them to your account quickly and easily using your phone's camera.
Here's a tip: even though the tickets are linked to my My Disney Experience account, I like to write the name of each of my family members on the actual admission card and bring those along with me on my trip. I have rarely ever needed them, but having the physical tickets has helped me sort out a mix-up before, so I always bring them with me now!
Have a magical day, Rosario!
