Hey howdy hey Elizabeth and welcome to planDisney!
One of the best experiences about touring the Theme Parks in Walt Disney World Resort has got to be how easy it is. With all of the technological advances, all you need is a smart device or your MagicBand and you are all set! Let's go over a couple of options on linking your ticket to your My Disney Experience account.
With your
My Disney Experience app, you will log in and then on the bottom right you will see three horizontal lines, tap them to bring up more options. Tap "Tickets and Passes" and then you will see an option to "Select Tickets" or "Link Tickets and Passes". Click on "Link Tickets and Passes", select if you want to add a "Ticket or Pass" or a "Room with Tickets" and then you will type or scan your ID code into the box. Now everything is connected!
If you wanted to, you can do the same thing with the
My Disney Experience account online. After you log on, you will see "Park Tickets" at the top. Click on that and a link will pop up to "Link Tickets". Click on that and follow the prompts and you are all set! Make sure that after you link your tickets to make a
Park Pass Reservation for your days in the parks as well.
When in the parks you have two options when it comes to accessing these tickets. You can either do it from your smart device with
MagicMobile Service that you can set up through your My Disney Experience app as well. When you tap into your app, tap the three horizontal lines on the bottom right and then tap "Disney MagicMobile". Follow the prompts and then you have full access to your tickets through your smart device. You can also purchase
MagicBands that you will be able to access your tickets from as well. These are available for purchase either through your My Disney Experience account or by purchasing tickets on
ShopDisney and linking them to your account. Either way, it is super easy to link and use throughout the parks. I love having my MagicBand, finding my favorite character or park icon, and once I put that band on before leaving for my vacation, that is the true sign of "vacation mode"!
Enjoy planning the rest of your trip in April and if you have any further questions, let us know, we love talking about all things Disney here at planDisney!
Happy planning,
Nick
