how do I link three separate family tickets together for the day?

Hey there Ian, thanks for stopping by planDisney with your great question!

I always like to link my family's theme park tickets together in the Disneyland app.  Open up your app, and navigate to the three horizontal bar line menu in the bottom right-hand corner and tap "Tickets and Passes."  Then tap "Link Tickets & Passes," and you'll be able to either scan the ticket barcodes or manually type in the number.

A great benefit of linking your party's tickets together for the day is that you'll be able to make Lightning Lane selections together as one group if you'd like!  When you book your Lightning Lane selections using Disney Genie+ Service, there will be a checkbox next to each member of your party, and one person can help secure those for the entire group of three, it's very convenient.

It looks like you'll be visiting later this month, I'd already be counting down the days!  The parks may be busier due to Spring Break and schools being out, but do not worry, you can still have a wonderful time at the Disneyland Resort even when it's crowded.  My best recommendation is always to get to the parks early, we aim to get to the security gates 30 minutes prior to the scheduled opening time so we can head right to the entrance gates of Disneyland Park or Disney California Adventure Park.  Crowds are usually lighter first thing in the morning, and you can get some of your top priorities and attractions crossed off of your list during those first few hours!

I hope this information is helpful for your upcoming trip, Ian!  Please do not hesitate to come back to planDisney with any other questions we can assist with!

    Have a magical day!
