Can i link my Specialty Fireworks Cruise to My Disney Experience? Thank you.

    Hi Diana,

Welcome to planDisney! How exciting that your Walt Disney World Resort vacation is nearly here. There’s so much to look forward to this summer, as we celebrate #AlltheThrills, Disney100, and the EPCOT International Flower and Garden Festival. I love personalizing my Disney vacations with special plans, and I also love technology so I’m happy to help you put these two together today!

I can’t think of a more magical ending to a perfect Disney day than a Specialty Fireworks Cruise. Part of the Enchanting Extras Collection, this smooth-sailing ride takes up to ten Guests for a private cruise to enjoy the evening together and see a nighttime spectacular from a truly unforgettable viewpoint. You must call Disney to make these reservations and you’re correct in that they do not automatically show in your plans within your My Disney Experience account. I like to keep everything organized in one place, so here’s how you can add it:

    • Log into your My Disney Experience account, on a computer
    • Navigate to My Plans
    • Under My Plans, Reservations, and Tickets you’ll see a blue rectangular shaped button labelled Add More Plans - select that button
    • A list of options will appear, scroll down and select Notes
    • A new pop-up window appears to add a new Note
    • Manually enter as many details as you wish about the fireworks cruise. (Date, time, and subject are required.) I like to put the confirmation number in the description along with any other details to remember.
    • Select who in your travel party to share this plan with, and save the new Note
While adding a new Note is only available on the web based My Disney Experience, you will see any Notes in your plans within the My Disney Experience mobile app once saved. Anyone you share it with will also see it in their plans under the corresponding date and time. I like this Notes feature for adding details and plans for my trip that aren’t automatically added in the way that dining reservations are.

Did you know that celebratory banners and balloons are included in the cost of your specialty cruise? If you didn’t ask to add them, be sure to call back and have any celebration request noted for your sailing. Light snacks (chips, packaged sweets) and drinks (water, sodas) are provided but you may also bring your own alcohol if desired. If you have MagicBand+ be sure to wear it, as it can interact with the nighttime spectacular for an extra immersive experience!

I hope you have an amazing time on your fireworks cruise to cap off a fabulous vacation to the Walt Disney World Resort, Diana! Please let me know if you have any more questions on how to make the most of this special trip.

    YOU are the magic,
    Amy
