Oh, EthelRose, I got so excited reading your question and knowing you are sharing your love of
Disney Cruise Line with your sister and her family. We talked our extended family into a cruise for my in-law's 50th wedding anniversary. It was so much fun, and they now know why we choose to cruise with Captains Mickey and Minnie year after year.
You can
link your reservations on the Disney Cruise Line website or the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator app. On the website, go to "Already Booked" in the top right-hand corner and select "My Reservations." Once logged in, find your sailing information and click the down arrow in the box with your reservation number. Click "+ Add and Link Reservations."
On the app, you should see your reservation with the option to "+ Add a Reservation" once you are logged into your account.
You will need the reservation number, last name, and birthdate of one of the Guests in the room with which you are connecting. Once officially connected, you can make dining reservations at the
adult-exclusive restaurants or book other activities together.
Since you earned your sea legs on previous cruises, you can enjoy the benefits of being a
Disney Cruise Line Castaway Club member. As a Silver Castaway member, you can book onboard activities 90 days before sailing. First-time cruisers can do this 75 days before.
The booking date benefits extend to everyone in your stateroom. My husband and I enjoyed a cruise without our kids. On our next family sailing, we were Platinum members, and we could book everything earlier for all of us. This is an amazing benefit, but it only applies to people in the same stateroom.
You can wait to book dining together, which is the easiest, but these restaurants are popular, and reservations tend to fill quickly. You can book separately and hope reservations are still available. If you cannot get dining together, I suggest checking with the dining team once you board. Most cruises have a special meeting location on Embarkation Day for special assistance with dining requests. On the
Disney Fantasy and
Disney Dream, the dining team usually has been on Deck 2, near the Enchanted Garden. On the
Disney Wonder, we found them at the French Quarter Lounge, near Tiana's Place. You can ask when you board where they are located.
I know this is not the news you were hoping to hear. I wish there were another way to secure your reservations at the earliest time. I do hope you can enjoy these exquisite dining experiences together.
If we can help with any other questions, you know we are always happy to see you at
planDisney!
Bon Voyage!
