Hi there, Dawn!
Thanks so much for stopping by with this great question. It has been a while since I have been able to visit The Most Magical Place on Earth with my big sister and her family, but I am hoping that I can convince her to join us for a few days in the spring.
Dawn, connecting two families through
My Disney Experience is one of the most challenging parts about a trip with a large group. You see, adult profiles can be shared through your
Family & Friend’s List. So, you and your sister can see each other’s plans once you connect but unfortunately,
a minor’s profile cannot be shared. While you will be able to see your sister, you will not be able to see (or plan for) her kids, and vice versa.
My sister and I created a work around for this issue, and I suggest that you do the same. In our case, I called the friendly website support Cast Members at
(407) 939-4357 and they were able to manually move my sister’s children over to my account. This let me have all of the children on my account while still being connected to my sister through my Family & Friends List. I could now plan for the entire group to make those all important Lightning Lane selections and join the virtual queue for
Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure.
Your other option is just to use one central “dummy” account for both of your family’s; however, that may not work if your tickets are already loaded in your My Disney Experience account.
I hope that this helped a bit, Dawn.
See you real soon!
