Lawrence from WA Asked Note: This answer was provided prior to the change to planDisney and may still contain references to Disney Parks Moms Panel.

Can you link single park passes with hopper passes? I'm traveling with my sisters families and one family wants single park while the other wants hoppers passes? If you can, do you have to unlink them constantly as the hoppers seperate from single?

    Hey, howdy, hey, Lawrence!

Your digital experience at the Disneyland Resort starts with the Disneyland app. Combining the theme park tickets of your family and those of your sister’s family in the Disneyland app is a fine idea. There is no problem with doing so. It will be especially helpful if all of your tickets have Disney MaxPass added to them and you would like to make Disney FASTPASS together using your mobile device. If you happen to split up during the day, you may keep your tickets linked together in the app. It is still possible to make FASTPASS selections separately. To do so, simply tap the “Get FASTPASS with Disney MaxPass” button to proceed to the “Create a FASTPASS Party” screen. On that screen, you may select all or only part of your party to proceed with making your next FASTPASS selection.

Tony’s Tip: You may link your tickets in the Disneyland app using as many different Disneyland Resort accounts as you like. For example, you may use different accounts to initially link tickets into separate family groups. And a third account could then be used to link together all of the tickets. When your group is all together, someone using a device with the account that includes everyone can be in charge of large group FASTPASS selections. When your groups are separate, the other account owners may be able to make FASTPASS choices for the smaller groups without the extra step of deselecting tickets for guests in the other group.

You will also want to download the free Play Disney Parks app. This awesome app lets you access trivia, games, and more. One of my favorite features of the Play Disney Parks app is the Star Wars: Datapad. Use the Datapad to hack, scan, and translate your way through Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge, Disneyland Park’s newest land of out-of-this-world adventure.

Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Lawrence. We are happy to help with your Disneyland Resort vacation planning and look forward to any other questions you may have.
