How do I link 2 separate package reservations? Our traveling party is split between 2 rooms at the same resort. I would like the rooms to be connected or close by each other. I was also hoping to be able to book our dining reservations together.

Welcome to planDisney, Melissa! I'm so glad to be able to answer your question today. I've got some tips to set you up for a smooth and magical trip, so let's jump right in and get your reservations connected!

If your party is split between two separate packages at the same resort, the first thing you'll want to do is call Disney Resort Hotel Reservations and ask to have your reservations linked. When you do that, you can let the Cast Member know you'd like your rooms to be connecting or close to each other. While connecting rooms can't be guaranteed, the Cast Members will do their best to honor the request. It helps if you make the request as early as possible!

Now, when it comes to dining reservations, linking your parties in My Disney Experience is key. Here's how to do it:
    1. Open the My Disney Experience app and navigate to the main menu in the bottom right corner of the app.
    2. Scroll down and select "Profile" and then toggle to "Friends & Family List" at the top of the page.
    3. Tap on "Add a Guest" and find your party members by inputting their name and age or scanning their linking code.
When your dining reservation window opens, you'll be able to book dining reservations for everyone, and all members of the party will be able to see your plans in My Disney Experience.

I hope this answers your question, Melissa, and please let us know if there's anything else we can do to help you plan your magical vacation!
