how do i link my resort reservations and tickets to my myDisney Experience account?

Well, hello there! Welcome to planDisney, Caitlin! We’re so glad you’re here.

If you ask me, planning a Walt Disney World Resort vacation is SO much fun! However, I know that sometimes it can seem a bit intimidating with so much to think about! But, just know that all your hard work will totally pay off as soon as you arrive at Walt Disney World for your magical vacation! Plus, you’re certainly not on your own, as you always have your friends here at planDisney to help you each step of the way! And, of course, we can’t forget about your My Disney Experience app, which makes planning your vacation as easy as can be! So, let’s get your reservations and tickets all linked up, shall we?

To start, you’ll want to locate the confirmation email that you would have received when you purchased your vacation package. Once you have that handy, open up the My Disney Experience app and navigate to "Tickets and Passes." Then, click on "Link Tickets & Passes" and "Room with Tickets." Next, fill in your confirmation number and the last name on your reservation, follow the prompts, and you are all set! Now, doing this should also link your resort reservation in your app, but if it doesn’t, simply open the menu by clicking on the three stacked lines in the bottom right corner and then select “Resort Hotel.” From there, enter in your confirmation and the last name on your reservation, and you will be all linked up! How easy is that!

Once you have your plans linked to your account, don't forget to secure your Park Pass Reservations. As a reminder, you'll need to make a reservation for the first park you plan to visit each day. Then, if you've purchased the Park Hopper Option, you can hop over to another park after 2 p.m. each afternoon. To make your Park Pass Reservations, click on the “+” in the middle of the app navigation bar and click on “Make a Park Reservation.” From there, click on “Theme park Tickets,” and a separate browser window will open. You can then select the members of your party, the date of your visit, and the park you would like to reserve. Finally, follow the prompts to secure your reservation, and you are all set! Some dates do book up rather quickly, so I recommend making your Park Pass Reservations as soon as possible.

I do hope I have been able to help you today! Please stop by again with any other questions you may have! In the meantime, I'll be wishing you an absolutely magical visit to Walt Disney World, Caitlin!

    See you real soon!
