Hi Jeni!
Welcome to planDisney. You are going to love kicking off the new year at the Happiest Place on Earth! There is no better way to ring in 2026 than surrounded by magic and pixie dust. It's a great idea to get all of your plans in place ahead of your visit, so you can just sit back and get ready for all the fun. Let's take a look at your question together.
When it comes to reservations, there are a few to consider, so I'll walk you through each to cover all our bases. If you are referring to
dining reservations, these will only show in the account of the Guest who originally made the booking. If you are used to traveling to Walt Disney World, you may be familiar with the My Disney Experience app and the Friends & Family list, where plans can be shared. The
Disneyland app functions a bit differently, and, unfortunately, you are not able to share dining reservations. My planDisney pals and I use a workaround here and send each other a smartphone calendar invite with an alert about 30 minutes ahead of the reservation time so we know when we should start heading to the restaurant. I know, not quite ideal, but it does work!
If you are hoping to
link to other Guests in your party for the purpose of booking Lightning Lanes together or just to have access to each other's tickets, especially if you have kids in your group and your party may split up during the day, that can easily be done! In the app, head to the three-line icon in the bottom right-hand corner, selecting "My Tickets & Passes". In the top right corner, you will see a "+" to link your tickets. There will be a few options here - you can manually enter the ticket ID number, simply scan the barcode of the ticket you are trying to link, or tap the Guest's
MagicBand+. I find that it's fastest to do this once everyone is together in person rather than manually entering the numbers. I recommend that everyone in your party links to each other for maximum flexibility during your day. This way, anyone can book Lightning Lanes together or in smaller groups if you have added Multi Pass to your tickets.
Once you've linked other theme park tickets to your account, you will also be able to view the theme park reservations that are currently attached to those tickets. Guests are required to have both to enter the parks - while the ticket gains you entry, the reservations hold a spot for you in a particular park on a particular day. To view theme park reservations, tap the "+" in the bottom navigation bar and select "Make a Park Reservation". From here, tap the "Make or Modify Park Reservations" button, and this will take you to a page where you can view all of the reservations currently made for tickets linked to your account. This is where you can modify or cancel them as well.
Jeni, I hope this has been helpful, and we've navigated our way to an answer for you! I'm excited to share that the holly jolly is still in full swing at the Disneyland Resort, and you will get to enjoy all the limited-time
holiday offerings from entertainment to characters in costume to sweet treats during your stay! If you have any more questions, please drop us a line here at planDisney.
Magic awaits!
