Can I link a reservation in My Disney Experience and purchase a Memory Maker if staying at a non Disney affiliated hotel outside park?

    Hi Magdalena,

Thanks for visiting Disney Parks Moms Panel.

It's great to hear you are getting your planning started for your Walt Disney World vacation.

When it comes to adding hotel reservations to your My Disney Experience account, you can use the "Link Resort Reservation Button" to link a Walt Disney World Resort Hotel, a Disney Springs Area Resort Hotel, Walt Disney World Swan Hotel, or Walt Disney World Dolphin Hotel. When it comes to Memory Maker, you can purchase that Disney PhotoPass product and link it to your MyDisneyPhotoPass.com account and your My Disney Experience account, even if you are staying at a hotel other than a Walt Disney World Resort hotel. Your Memory Maker purchase is not dependent on your hotel reservation.

Magdalena, I hope this helps you with your Walt Disney World vacation planning. If you have any questions as you make your plans, please do come back to us here at Disney Parks Moms Panel. We're happy to help you.

    Enjoy your Disney!

Meet the Panelist: Jerry, Pennsylvania

The playful and creative optimism of all things Disney has enthralled me since I was a kid. I loved watching "The Wonderful World of Disney" on Sunday nights, seeing all the live-action and animated classics in theaters, and — of course — visiting "The Most Magical Place on Earth" for the first time 45 years ago. These days, the big kid in me still loves to play Disney. As a long-time Disney destinations vacationer, I'm looking forward to helping you play Disney starting here at planDisney!
