How to link qr code to disyney app

Hi Jim! Thanks for visiting planDisney.

The Disneyland mobile app is a handy tool for your upcoming park day. From checking wait times to finding your favorite Characters, it will make magic happen. But you'll also use your mobile device to scan into the parks with your admission ticket and theme park reservation. To do this, you'll need your ticket linked to your device. I can quickly walk you through linking your ticket to the app using a QR code.

Open the app and three-bar menu on the bottom right side. This will bring up a series of tiles. Select "My Tickets & Passes" at the top. You should see an option to "Link Tickets & Passes" or a "+." Select either one of these options. The screen to link tickets should pop up. You have several options: Camera, Tap, and Type ID. I usually select "Type ID" and manually type my ticket ID number into the app, but if you'd like to scan a QR code, "Camera" is the default choice. Tap "Open Camera" and hold the camera of your device over the QR code until it recognizes it. Follow the onscreen prompts and repeat for each ticket.

You should also be able to scan merchandise barcodes in the parks similarly when using Merchandise Mobile Checkout at select locations. Instead, you'll tap the "Merchandise Checkout" tile to begin and then follow the onscreen prompts. It's a super convenient way to check out after finding the perfect souvenir. We also love to mobile order our food and beverages from our favorite quick service locations, which offer this option. I'll order our lunch while waiting in a queue, for example, and be ready to pick it up after we're finished riding. It helps us make the most of our day.

    I hope this helps!
