Ahoy Amanda,
Welcome to planDisney! It sounds like you're hoping to use a
placeholder reservation to book a future sailing. I actually did this for the first time just this year and wondered why we never took advantage of this magical
onboard offer on our previous cruises. We loved having a new voyage to look forward to before we disembarked the ship, and have already taken advantage of the 10% savings on our next itinerary. I'm happy to navigate you through the process. Let's set sail!
You can access the placeholder booking offer
online by hovering over "Already Booked" on the Disney Cruise Line website header. Select
"My Reservations" and then locate "Future Cruise Placeholder" (click the Reservation drop-down menu if you have multiple reservations) to begin the new itinerary booking process. Be sure that whoever paid the $250 deposit on your last sailing is the guest logged in to book the new itinerary. My husband and I were in the same stateroom, but the placeholder offer only appeared on his account when it was time to book.
Summer 2027 itineraries were recently released, and there are so many magical options to choose from! Whether you're planning to visit one of the
Disney Island destinations or explore Europe, Alaska, or more, you're sure to find the perfect option for your crew. Keep in mind that your new sailing must occur within 24 months to use your placeholder offer, and blockout dates do apply. You can reach out to a Disney Cruise Line Crew Member by phone for further assistance.
Amanda, if I've misunderstood your question or you need additional support, please come back and let us know. We're always glad to help!
Magic and memories,
Amy
