Hi Jaymie, thanks so much for bringing your question to planDisney. Springtime is the best time to visit Walt Disney World, especially as the
EPCOT International Flower and Garden Festival will be in full swing.
Disability Access Service (DAS) is a helpful offering from Walt Disney World to Guests who, because of a disability, cannot wait in a typical queue environment. Once DAS is in place, it usually allows up to five fellow Guests to select return times for experiences rather than waiting in line.
Jaymie, as a fellow U.K. resident, I want to let you know that preregistering for DAS is not possible from here, but you can certainly still obtain DAS.
Once you arrive at a Walt Disney World theme park, speak with
Guest Relations to determine if DAS would be a good fit. You will only need to do this once for DAS to be valid for your entire trip. It's a simple and quick process with very helpful Cast Members. The person who needs the DAS service must be present for the interview. Cast Members can help with other needs too, such as storing and refrigerating necessary medicine.
Jaymie, I hope this information helps you to enjoy the blue skies and sunshine at Walt Disney World. Have a magical day! Louise
