Hi Jay! Welcome back to planDisney! Thanks so much for bringing us your question.
I'm absolutely thrilled you're planning to use
Memory Maker because honestly, it's one of the best ways to capture all those magical moments during your Walt Disney World adventure! Disney photos are on the very top of my favorite Disney souvenirs!
So here's the scoop on how Memory Maker works its magic. It automatically collects all of your
Disney PhotoPass photos from your visit. We're talking about those amazing pictures taken by PhotoPass photographers throughout the parks (they always know the best spots!), plus all those hilarious attraction photos and videos where you're probably screaming your head off on Space Mountain! Everything gets linked to your account when you scan your MagicBand, ticket, or
Disney MagicMobile pass, and then you can view and download them all in your My Disney Experience account.
Now, if you were referring to personal photos that you snap on your own camera or phone, those can't be uploaded into Memory Maker since it's specifically designed to gather all those special PhotoPass memories that Disney captures for you during your trip. But trust me, you're going to get so many incredible shots that your phone will welcome the photo snapping break!
Here's my favorite little insider tip: if you're traveling with family or friends, make sure to link your accounts in
My Disney Experience ahead of time. That way, all the PhotoPass photos from your entire group will magically appear in your Memory Maker collection! It's like having your own personal Disney photographer following you around, capturing every single smile, silly face, and maybe even that surprise Mickey ear hat moment.
I'm already getting excited thinking about all the magical memories you're going to create, Jay! Nothing beats flipping through those photos later and reliving every single moment of Disney magic.
So, smile big and capture every magical moment! And if you have any more questions, don’t hesitate to come back and see us.
