Howdy, DeAnn! Thanks so much for popping in to planDisney with this great question. I am excited for your upcoming trip to the Happiest Place on Earth!
DeAnn, the first thing you’ll want to do is download the
Disneyland mobile app. This is the easiest way to link tickets in my opinion, plus you’ll be able to use the app for many things during your visit, which I can help with too!
Once you’re in the Disneyland mobile app, click on “Tickets and Passes.” Then tap on “Link Tickets & Passes” and you’ll be given the option to scan the barcodes of the other tickets, or you can manually enter the ID number. After you complete this step and you see these tickets in your app, they are officially linked to your account.
Also, I want to point out that any of these four Guests you are traveling with can also link the entire group of tickets within their accounts. I find it helpful when traveling with my family for at least two of us to have all the tickets linked in case someone’s phone battery gives up or just merely to have some help with managing logistics for the day.
Once you have the tickets linked, it will be much easier to manage your day at the parks. For example, with
Disney Genie+, you can reserve
Lightning Lanes for your entire party at once, helping to ensure all of you have the same arrival window to enjoy the attraction together. If you haven’t already purchased Disney Genie+, you’ll have the option to do so once you have entered through the turnstile – this is a cosmically powerful option I highly recommend as you’ll save hours of time waiting in queues. On a recent trip, we got on all the major attractions on a very busy day using the Lightning Lanes! Genie made our wishes come true.
By linking the tickets you’ll also be able to make
dining reservations for your group, as well as place
mobile dining orders. I recommend bringing a portable charger for your mobile phone if you can, it helps when you're using your app so frequently throughout the day.
DeAnn, I hope you have a truly magical experience! Come back and see us if you need more help, we’re all EARS!
