Lance from TX Asked Note: This answer was provided prior to the change to planDisney and may still contain references to Disney Parks Moms Panel.

If we link park tickets to MDE and book fast pass reservations but then part of our group is unable to make the trip, will we be able to link the tickets and make fast pass reservations for a future visit, possibly 2 years later?

    Hi Lance!

Thank you for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel with this question about theme park tickets at Walt Disney World Resort.

I have good news for you, Lance! You can hold onto the theme park tickets you purchase until you are ready to use them. Theme park tickets do expire, but not until 14 days after you first use them. Linking your tickets to My Disney Experience and making FastPass+ reservations for a particular date will not require you to use the tickets on that particular date. If your group is unable to make the trip, you would be able to use your tickets for a future visit, even if it is two years later.

Keep in mind the booking window for making FastPass+ selections. If you are not staying at a Walt Disney World Resort hotel, you can start making FastPass+ selections 30 days before your arrival. If you are staying at a Walt Disney World Resort hotel, you can start making FastPass+ selections 60 days before your arrival.

I hope this answers your question, Lance. Please stop back and let me know if you have any other questions.

    Have a magical day!
