How can I link a park ticket to my Son's apple watch? He is 14.

Hello, Tom! Thanks for taking the time to send in your question to planDisney. We're happy you're here!

Walt Disney once said, "Times and conditions change so rapidly that we must keep our aim constantly focused on the future." It certainly seems like Disney is always looking to the future to find ways to improve the guest experience through the use of technology. Disney MagicMobile is one new example, and this service is a contactless way for guests to use the same features as a MagicBand normally would, all through your cell phone.

It's easy to add a Disney MagicMobile Pass to the Wallet app in your mobile device. Then, you can use your iPhone or Apple Watch to enter any of the Walt Disney World theme parks (when you add a MagicMobile Pass on your iPhone, you automatically add it to your paired Apple Watch, too). And you don't even have to unlock your device; just hold the top of your iPhone or the display of your Apple Watch near the contactless tap styles, and a checkmark and 'Done' will show on your device. You can also use it for Lightning Lane Reservation Redemption and for charging food and merchandise to your Walt Disney World Resort Hotel Room!

My 19-year-old son recently left his MagicBand at home, and a Cast Member showed him how to set it up right from his My Disney Experience App. Here are the steps:
    1. Open your My Disney Experience app and log in to your account.
    2. In the app menu, tap Disney MagicMobile Pass.
    3. Tap Set Up Your Pass.
    4. If you have more than one MagicMobile Pass, select the passes you want to add.
    5. Tap Add to Apple Wallet.
    6. Follow the instructions on the screen to finish adding your MagicMobile Pass.

The only caveat I see here is that since the minimum age for a My Disney Experience account is 16 years old, your son will need to use your account. When I spoke to a Cast Member over the phone yesterday, she told me that as long as your son is sharing your Apple ID, this shouldn't be an issue and that you will need to hold his device near yours to add. You can also try sharing your Disney MagicMobile pass. If you run into any problems along the way, call the Website Support Team at (407) 939-4357. Phone lines open at 7 am EST, and I suggest contacting them early in the day as phone lines get busy.

I hope this helps, Tom. Please stop back and see us again sometime!

    Sincerely,
    Eean
