Hi Sharon,
Welcome back to planDisney!
I am thrilled to hEAR that you have an upcoming trip to the Walt Disney World Resort, that you have a
theme park ticket, and are planning to use a
MagicBand! Yes, you can certainly link your theme park ticket and it will connect with your MagicBand. First, make sure you have a
My Disney Experience account.
Then, make sure that you
link both the MagicBand and the park ticket to that account. As long as the MagicBand and theme park ticket are assigned to the same person, they should work together. So, for example, I have multiple theme park tickets and MagicBands linked to My Disney Experience account. I can use any MagicBand and it will pull the park tickets I have linked to me in My Disney Experience account.
Once you have theme park tickets and MagicBands linked and assigned to everyone traveling in your party, make sure that you have
Disney Park Pass system reservations for everyone. Check the
theme park availability calendar prior to making those park pass reservations just to make sure there is park pass availability for the date(s) of your visit.
Also, do not forget to plan for dining. On our last visit, we were so happy to have made
advanced dining reservations. Although we did use
Mobile Food & Beverage Ordering on a few days, we loved being able to use
Mobile Dine Check-in for our dining reservations, checking in on our walk to the restaurant, and then being seated as soon as we arrived. It was a welcome break from standing in lines for attractions!
Sharon, I hope this helps! Sending a little extra pixie dust as you link that theme park ticket and MagicBand! I trust that your visit will be
Incredible!
Magic and memories,
Donyell
