Wow, in just a few days you will be on your way to the Vacation Kingdom of the World for your magical vacation! I bet you all are super excited about your upcoming trip but it sounds like we need to talk about technology first. The My Disney Experience account and app will be key to convince for your upcoming vacation so let's go over your reservations.
Regarding
Theme Park Reservations, Disney announced earlier this year that Guests with date-based tickets no longer need reservations. If you did buy theme park tickets online through the Disney site and had to pick a start date for your ticket validation period, this often means your tickets are date-based and would not need reservations. This could be one issue why you are unable to see your reservations because you don't need them!
Now, there are many other ways to get your theme park tickets that may require reservations to get into the parks. If you need to make reservations you can do this quickly through your
My Disney Experience account. Once you log in, on your home screen you should see several icons on the top of your screen. The filled-in ones mean you have information linked to these areas and the unfilled ones mean you have some work to do, potentially. Second, from the right, you should see a calendar that you can highlight and it will bring up a blue button to "Make Reservations". As long as you follow this step, your reservations will be Magically linked to your account. You should then see them pop up on your daily plans that you have a reservation for a specific park for that day. Sometimes your
My Disney Experience app may need to update any new versions or a quick uninstall and reinstall to get things updated appropriately to reflect your online information.
On your My Disney Experience home page, you can also update any of the information you need such as linking your Disney Resort hotel information or theme park tickets. You would follow the same steps above just with the appropriate icons. Once everything is linked, you should be all set for your Magical vacation experience!
