Is there a link where I can order a birthday cake to be delivered to our room?

    Hi Melanie,

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I'm so glad you stopped by to ask how to round out a magical birthday celebration.

Specialty cakes for all occasions -- birthdays, anniversaries, and milestones of all sorts -- are available for delivery to your resort room. To order, you can call (407) 827-2253 at least 72 hours in advance. If you are already at Walt Disney World, simply press "Dining Options" on your room phone.

If you want cake with a birthday meal, chocolate or white Mickey cakes are available at a long list of table service restaurants. You don't even have to order in advance, though that is recommended.  Just let the host know when you are seated. Or, to be sure they have a cake available for you, you can add a notation to your dining reservation.

I'm a big fan of the treats at Amorette's Patisserie in Disney Springs. They don't deliver, but they have a variety of amazing pastries and cakes. For my daughter's birthday last year, instead of a cake, she wanted eclairs from Amorette's.

Amorette's also features a cake decorating experience where you can learn from their artisans and have a beautiful cake to take with you at the end of the 90-minute class. A couple of my Moms Panel friends did this recently and raved about the experience.

Or Disney Floral & Gifts offers in-room celebrations and gift baskets that can be delivered to your resort.

I hope that gives you some "sweet" ideas, Melanie. And don't forget to pick up a complimentary "Happy Birthday" button at Guest Services in any theme park to wear on the special day. Please let us know if we can answer any other questions for you as you make your plans. Enjoy!
