    Can i link OpenTable reservations into my Disney plans? I made a reservation at Rosa Mexicano in the swan but not sure if I can link?

    Thanks for bringing a great question to planDisney for your upcoming vacation to the Walt Disney World Resort. I adore great Mexican food (we also have a Rosa Mexicana near me in Washington, DC), and I especially love planning with Disney tech so let’s explore what’s possible for you!

    I love this question because you can use a feature within My Disney Experience that I feel is an unsung hero – Notes. Unfortunately, you can’t automatically link a dining reservation from an outside company such as Open Table to your Disney plans, but I understand the need to have everything visible in one handy place. My Disney Experience is your personalized digital hub where you can keep all your vacation plans organized. To add your Rosa Mexicano reservation at the Walt Disney World Swan hotel, I suggest the following workaround:

    • Log onto My Disney Experience, on a computer web browser (this feature is not available on the mobile app but you will see the new Notes in the app when complete)
    • Navigate to My Plans
    • Under the banner titled My Plans, Reservations, and Tickets click on the menu for Add More Plans, and select Notes
    • The Notes form will open. Complete the required fields and add as much information as you’d like to be informative and helpful in your plans. I suggest you add “Rosa Mexicano reservation” with the Open Table confirmation number along with the specific date and time of your meal.
    • Select any Friends and Family to share this Note with.
    • Click Add Note to finish.

    You will now see this new note as an item at the designated date and time within Your My Disney Experience plans, both on the website and the mobile app. Anyone you opted to share with will also see it. This should make it seamless for remembering the details of this reservation as you view your itinerary in one place. Use the handy Notes feature for any additional details, plans, or other information you wish to keep in sight throughout your trip.
