    can I link an old magic band to a new ticket

    Hi Jhasmin! Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

    You must be so excited to return to the Walt Disney World Resort soon! There is always something new and exciting happening at "The Most Magical Place on Earth" and each visit is unique ... no matter how many times you visit!

    I reuse MagicBands from previous vacations often. My husband surprised me with a Haunted Mansion themed MagicBand a couple of years ago and I still use it because it is my favorite! All you need to do to reuse your MagicBand is make sure that it is still linked and active on your My Disney Experience account. Once you link your new tickets to My Disney Experience, you should auto-magically be able to use your MagicBand with the new ticket. Since the batteries do eventually stop working with MagicBands, I recommend having the ticket information with you, just in case there are any issues. It will be a lot easier to have any problems corrected if you have the ticket information when you visit.
