Welcome to planDisney, Deanna!
Planning a Walt Disney World Resort vacation with Family and Friends adds an extra layer of pixie dust to every adventure. I'll be spending time with some of my planDisney pals in the parks next month and connecting as
Family and Friends in My Disney Experience has made it easy for us to view and make plans for each other (
theme park reservations,
dining reservations, etc.)
To start planning Disney with a pal, all you need is a My Disney Experience account. Complete the following steps to connect with someone that has their own My Disney Experience account*:
1. Click "Add a Guest" at the bottom of your
Family and Friends List.
2. Select "I'll enter their name and age."
3. Select "Invite this Guest to connect," which appears once the age 18+ is selected.
4. Enter the email associated with your friend's My Disney Experience account.
5. Ask your friend to click "Accept" in the email invitation to connect and their name will automagically appear on your Family and Friends list. This means you can view and make plans for each other.
*If your friend doesn't have a My Disney Experience account yet, the invitation to connect will ask them to create an account before clicking the "Accept" button.
I'm especially looking forward to experiencing
Disney's Keys to the Kingdom Tour next month. Because my pal
Diana will be staying at a
Disney Resorts Collection hotel, she was able to book the tour for our entire party over 60 days in advance. Disney Resorts Collection hotel Guests can book
Enchanting Extras Collection experiences and advance reservations for dining for their entire stay (up to 10 days) 60 days before their check-in date. That's definitely something to keep in mind when making plans for your upcoming trip.
Please consider planDisney a permanent member of your Family and Friends list, Deanna. Hope to see you real soon!
