Can I Link new one day ticket to old magic band ?

    Hi Linda,

Welcome to planDisney! We are happy to help with all your questions about your next magical Walt Disney World vacation.

Your MagicBand is tied to your My Disney Experience account, not a specific ticket or vacation. So as long as the MagicBand (or multiple MagicBands) is still active and has a working battery, you should be good to go for your upcoming visit. Batteries last about two years.

Simply go to your My Disney Experience account and link the new ticket. Make sure you bring your MagicBand with you. And, because of the enhanced health and safety measures in place right now, you will need to make a reservation to enter one of the four theme parks with the new Disney Park Pass reservation system.

You also will want to download the most recent version of the My Disney Experience mobile app to help you navigate the parks with ease. The expanded Mobile Ordering system makes getting your meals faster and easier and helps with social distancing.

I hope that's helpful, Linda. Please let us know if you have any other questions about your return to the magic of Walt Disney World. Enjoy!
