Hi Margaret! Welcome to planDisney! I love when I get a chance to chat about the Most Magical Place on Earth with Guests from across the Atlantic!
Believe me when I tell you, your My Disney Experience account will be your best friend on your next visit! Many of the aspects of your holiday, including making dining reservations, park reservations,
Disney Genie+ selections, and a host of others that are handled directly through this account. You are also going to want to download the
My Disney Experience App to your mobile device to be able to access it on the go. When you are visiting the parks each day, using the app to make Lightning Lane selections and mobile ordering food will make your life that much easier!
To link the two of you to your My Disney Experience account, first, you'll need to create an account if you have not done so already. Go to the
Walt Disney World website and click on "My Disney Experience" toward the top right corner of the screen. Follow the steps to create an account and a profile for yourself. Once you have that squared away, select "Family & Friends" followed by "Add a Guest". Enter in her information to create her as a Guest.
Now that you have established an account, you can link your
Disney Resorts Hotel reservation and park tickets. Go back to the home screen and click on "Resort Hotel" followed by "Link a Reservation". Enter in your confirmation number provided when booking along with your last name. This should successfully link your resort to your account. Next, follow similar steps to link your park tickets. Click on "Park Tickets" followed by "Link Tickets". Here you will enter your Ticket ID Code found underneath the barcode of your tickets or in a confirmation email provided upon booking. Once you have completed this step, the last thing you need to do is make park reservations for the parks you wish to visit on select dates. Click on "Park Reservations" followed by "Make a Park Reservation". Follow the prompts to reserve the parks you want to go to on each of your park days.
Margaret, as I mentioned earlier, you are definitely going to get plenty of use out of the My Disney Experience App during your stay. I recommend opening the app up from time to time leading up to your stay to get acquainted with how it works. I hope you have a wonderful time on your Walt Disney World holiday!
See ya real soon!
