I love the convenience that
MagicBands bring to our
Walt Disney World Resort visits! When you wear your MagicBand, all of the information in your My Disney Experience account is accessible with just a tap of your wrist.
If you and your husband already have MagicBands linked to your
My Disney Experience account from a previous trip, there's no need to link them to a new
Disney Resorts Collection reservation. MagicBands aren't associated with one specific trip. Instead, they can access all of the information in your My Disney Experience account, including a new reservation.
When you open your
My Disney Experience mobile app and look under the "MagicBands and More" section, you'll be able to see all of your MagicBands that are active and linked to your My Disney Experience account. As long as the battery is still good, you can use any of those active MagicBands for a future trip. The batteries on older MagicBand models typically last for a few years, while the new MagicBand+ can be recharged. If you have multiple MagicBands, you can feel free to use any or all of them interchangeably during your next Walt Disney World Resort visit.
If you need to link a new MagicBand to your My Disney Experience account, it's quite easy. Under the "MagicBands and More" section of your My Disney Experience mobile app, you can click on "Link Your MagicBand or Card." Simply follow the app's prompts to link your MagicBand to your account. Once it's linked it will have access to all of the information in your account, including your new reservation.
