Hi Kelli! Welcome to planDisney!
Oh boy! I'm excited about your upcoming stay at the
Walt Disney World Dolphin Hotel! You can't find a better location that is so close to
Disney's Boardwalk, three neighboring Disney Resorts Hotels, and two of the theme parks! You are practically right in the middle of most of the action! Any time a Guest is staying in this area, I highly recommend purchasing park hopper tickets. This will give you the option of spending your nights in
EPCOT enjoying the festival booths and nighttime entertainment. Being able to walk in the International Gateway and directly into the World Showcase is a win-win.
To link your hotel reservation to your
My Disney Experience account, log on to your account and click on "Resort Hotel" followed by "Link a Reservation". Here you will enter your confirmation code and last name on the reservation. If this confirmation code does not work, it's possible that you are not using the correct code. When booking your stay through Marriot directly, the confirmation number that is provided upon the completion of your order is not always the same number needed to link your reservation to your My Disney Experience account. I would start by scanning the confirmation email that was sent to you from your booking to see if you come across a Disney-specific confirmation code. If not, your best bet will be to call the Dolphin Hotel and ask them to pull up your reservation information. They should be able to provide you with the correct information to use for your My Disney Experience account.
One of the biggest perks of staying at this hotel is
Early Theme Park Entry to any of the four parks each day. If you're an early riser like myself, you are allowed to enter the park 30 minutes before the official park opening time. This gives you a head start on the majority of other Guests and allows you to ride some attractions with minimal wait times.
Kelli, I hope this information helps you with your hotel reservation. The Dolphin Hotel is a fantastic place to stay and the amenities on site are on par with many of the Disney Resorts Hotels. Have a magical visit!
See ya real soon!
