Well hello there, Teresa. Welcome to planDisney!
If you purchase
Memory Maker, it will usually be linked to your
My Disney Experience account. In fact, you can select
"My Plans" from the My Disney Experience dropdown menu, scroll down, and select "Tickets, Passes & Memory Maker" and see who it is assigned to (and you can sometimes
reassign it if you'd like). If your
MagicBand is
linked to your My Disney Experience account, then Memory Maker is linked to your MagicBand as well! While Memory Maker can only be assigned to one Guest, other members of your travel party can use the service as long as they are linked to you through the
My Family & Friends list and you've toggled on the option for them to view your Disney PhotoPass Photos and they have done the same for you. Just note that when they look at the pictures in their
My Disney Experience mobile app, they will see the photos with a watermark on them. You would just need to download them and send them over to them!
Once you arrive at the
Walt Disney World Resort, you have something else to do before you can take advantage of your Memory Maker package: activate it. Here's how that works:
- Have your first photograph taken by a friendly and talented Disney PhotoPass Cast Member or ride an attraction on which a PhotoPass picture is taken.
- Click on the 3 horizontal lines (≡) at the bottom righthand corner of the My Disney Experience mobile app.
- Scroll down and click on "Photo Gallery."
- You should see the picture that was just taken and it will have the watermark on it. Tap on it (sometimes it takes more than 1 tap) and choose to activate Memory Maker.
- The watermarks should disappear for you and you'll be all set!
Teresa, I hope you take full advantage of this wonderful service and create photos of memories that will last a lifetime. I hope when you look back at them for years to come, it ignites all the feelings of joy those moments created in your heart. And I hope they bring a smile to your face whenever you need it.
If you have any other questions,
I'd be more than happy to answer them!
In your heart is a memory, and there it will always be,
Matt
