    Can I link my magic band for my cruise & WDW visit together?

    Ahoy there Connie, and welcome aboard planDisney!

    It sounds like you're getting ready to set sail later this year, and are looking forward to having the chance to adorn yourself with some wearable, water resistant Disney tech on your wrist! You'll be happy to hear that on my most recent trip heading from Walt Disney World Resort to our cruise on board the Disney Wish and back to another Disney Resort Hotel, my MagicBand+ was already linked to my account and I was pleasantly surprised to see that it was already functional on board to open our stateroom door.

    • While you're on board, you can also take the opportunity to purchase an exclusive DisneyBand+ during your sailing; while these are essentially the same, the name "Disney Band" is currently being used for these on board and for Disney folks travelling from outside of the United States. (I couldn't help but purchase one of these myself as a little memento from our voyages, and there are even ship-exclusive designs that seem to be snatched up very quickly!) My DisneyBand+ continues to work perfectly throughout Walt Disney World Resort every day and the Cast Members even frequently comment on how distinct it is if you're keen to show that you've recently set sail with Disney Cruise Line. 
    I also highly recommend looking into your Ground Transportation options between the Port and your Disney Resort Hotel - the sheer seamlessness and comfort was absolutely worth it.
