Hey Howdy Hey Judy, welcome to planDisney! Thank you for stopping by with your excellent question. I'm thrilled to assist you! Sharing plans must mean you're gearing up for a trip to
Walt Disney World Resort! You are sure to make awesome memories at The Most Magical Place on Earth!
To share plans with everyone in your party, I would suggest that everyone create their own
My Disney Experience account, if they haven't already, then adding them to your
Friends & Family list. I would next suggest connecting your account to everyone in your party on their own devices. This will allow you to manage all your plans, including all reservations, from your own account while still being able to share reservation plans and tickets with everyone in your party.
I find the easiest way to connect to the accounts of friends and family members is by using your Linking Code. To find your Linking Code, tap on the 3 horizontal lines on the bottom right of the My Disney Experience app. Scroll to the bottom of the screen then under Disney Account, tap “Profile.” Next, tap “Show My Linking Code.” The app will then prompt you with a warning explaining what the linking code is. Once someone scans your Linking Code, you’ll be added to their Friends & Family list. Next tap “Show My Linking Code.” The app will then create a unique linking code. There’s a QR version as well as a manual code that your friends and family can type in.
I am so excited about the new
Lightning Lane Passes! Judy, as you know, Lightning Lane Multi Pass has replaced Disney Genie+ service, and Lightning Lane Single Pass has replaced individual “à la carte” Lightning Lane entry. This new system allows you to purchase Lightning Lane passes and make your selections well in advance of your arrival, giving you more time to plan and enjoy your visit!
Guests of Disney Resort hotels and other select hotels can purchase passes up to 7 days in advance of their stay. If everyone in your party is on the same reservation but arriving on different days, the members arriving first will be able to book passes for the entire group. However, if the members arriving later have their own separate reservation, they'll only be able to purchase passes 7 days in advance of their check-in date.
Judy, I hope you find this information helpful as you prepare for an exciting visit to Walt Disney World Resort! Thank you again for visiting planDisney. Have a magical day!
