How to I link my Hotel reservation and my Theme park ticket in My Disney Experience account?

Welcome to planDisney, David! I’m so excited your’re gEARing up for a magical visit to the most magical place on earth in just a few months! I hope you’re as excited as I just got typing that!

David, getting everything linked in My Disney Experience is one of those “set it and forget it” steps that makes your whole trip feel so much smoother. The good news is it’s very simple to link both your Disney Resorts Collection hotel reservation and your theme park tickets, and once they’re connected, everything lives in one place.

The first thing you want to do is open the My Disney Experience app or head to the Walt Disney World website and log in to your account. From there, look for the section that says “My Plans,” and then choose the option to link reservations or tickets.

For your hotel reservation, you’ll enter the confirmation number along with the last name on the reservation. You should have received an email with that information once you booked your trip. Once you enter that info into your account, the resort info should show up right in your plans.

For your theme park tickets, the process is very similar. You can enter the ticket ID number if you purchased them separately, or if you bought them through Disney while logged into your account, they may already be there waiting for you. Once linked, you’ll also be able to assign each ticket to the correct person in your Family & Friends list.

If you’re using Disney MagicMobile or a MagicBand, everything will connect automatically once your tickets are linked, so you’ll be all set for park entry and PhotoPass moments.

One little pro tip: After everything is linked, take a quick minute to double check that each person in your party is connected properly and has their ticket assigned. That tiny step can save you time at the park entrance.

David, once you’ve got everything linked, it really does make your Disney days feel seamless, like everything is just ready and waiting for you. Now all you have to do is lock in all your dining reservations, Lightning Lanes, and keep dreaming up those magical days you're sure to experience once you’re there!

I hope this helps you get all set for your trip. Wishing you smooth planning, easy tap-ins, and a whole lot of magical moments ahead! If you need anything else, we’re always here and happy to help.

    See ya real soon!
