How to link hotel reservation to dvc?

"Welcome home," Debbie and thanks for bringing your question to planDisney! We are always hEAR to help!

Debbie, as a Disney Vacation Club Member one of my goals is to stay at each and every Disney Vacation Club Resort... not only at the Walt Disney World Resort, but all over the country. I'm not sure if you've enjoyed all of the different options yet, but it sounds like you have a Magical vacation on your calendar!

From your question, I think you either have a confirmed hotel reservation and are hoping to link it back to your Member Dashboard OR you're hoping to link your reservation to your My Disney Experience Account. Let's talk through both.

First, if you've booked a room using points and you see a confirmation number, that reservation will automatically show up when you sign in. You should even see a fun countdown upon log-in. If for some reason you don't see this, but booked your room with your points, I would recommend calling into Member Services

Debbie, sometimes I've used up all of my points but am still wanting a little pixie dust and will book a "cash stay." In this case, there is not currently a way to link that stay to your Member Dashboard, but you can link it to your My Disney Experience. To do that you'll want to make sure you've logged in to the Walt Disney World site and then click on the "My Plans" tab located on the right under the heading, My Disney Experience. Here if you hover over the blue "Resort Hotel" icon you will see an option to "Link a Reservation." From there you only need to enter your confirmation number!

Debbie, whether you booked a room with your Disney Vacation Club points or paid cash, I hope your vacation is Magical in every sense of the word and... don't forget to browse through the Member Benefits section of the Disney Vacation Club website before your arrival!

Debbie, I hope this helps as you are planning ahead and I encourage you to come back and see us at planDisney with any other questions you might have.
