Hi Tracey,
Welcome to planDisney! I love a visit to the Disneyland Resort that includes a stay at one of the three
Disneyland Resort Hotels. I’ve had the privilege of staying at all three, and they never disappoint!
I’m happy to walk you through how to link your hotel reservation to your Disneyland account. After making your hotel reservations, you should receive a confirmation number by email. You’ll use this number to link your reservation on either the Disneyland website or the Disneyland app — once you link it in one place, it will appear in both.
If you want to use the
Disneyland website, after signing in:
* Select “My Disneyland” in the top right corner.
* Click “My Hotel Reservations” from the dropdown options.
* You’ll be prompted to Link a Reservation.
* Provide your confirmation number, the last name the reservation is under, and your check-in date.
You can also link your hotel reservation through the
Disneyland app:
* Tap the three bars in the bottom right corner.
* Scroll to “Hotel Reservations” under My Visit.
* Enter the confirmation number, last name, and arrival date to link it.
If you’re a Disney World regular, note that the MagicBand+ does not unlock hotel room doors at Disneyland like it does at Walt Disney World. However, you can use the
Disneyland app as a digital room key.Once you settle into your hotel, be sure to explore the unique dining options at each Resort Hotel. You can enjoy breakfast at
Great Maple, located in the lobby of the Pixar Place Hotel. You can also grab a drink and Dole Whip at
Trader Sam’s Enchanted Tiki Bar, located at the Disneyland Hotel. In 2026, be sure to check out the
newly renovated Napa Rose at the Grand Californian Hotel. And don’t forget to stop by the gift shops at each hotel; they all carry unique merchandise specific to their theme!
I hope this answered your question, Tracey! If you have any more questions or need help planning something special for your next trip, don’t hesitate to reach out to me or any of my fellow planDisney panelists. We’re always here to sprinkle a little extra pixie dust on your planning.
Have a magical vacation!
