Can I link a guest/add them in the Disneyland Dining app so that our shared dining reservations appear in their plans? I've done this at Disneyworld on all of our trips but cannot find where to do this for the Disneyland app.

Hiya, Denice! We are so happy you are back here at planDisney with your question. We love to see that we are helping Guests find the magic in their vacations to the Happiest and Most Magical places on Earth!

While there are many similarities between the Disneyland Resort and the Walt Disney World Resort, they are definitely two different experiences with two different systems for planning. The mobile apps, as you have discovered, do not quite mirror each other, and, admittedly the Disneyland Resort app has fewer features for making cohesive plans with linked parties. Currently, there is no way to link or add someone to a dining reservation so that it shows up under "Future Plans" for all attending Guests. It will only show up in plans for the Guest who made the booking. I know, I wish I could wave my magic wand and make it so! My personal workaround is a good, old-fashioned smartphone calendar alert sent to everyone with a notification 15 minutes ahead of the reservation time. This gives your full party a gentle nudge to start making their way over to the dining location. Luckily, the Disneyland Resort is so manageable in size that it doesn't take much more than 15 minutes to get from point A to point B no matter where you are!

I can see that you are arriving just in time for the Halloween festivities to be in full swing! You are going to love capturing a photo with the iconic, Mickey pumpkin at the top of Main Street, U.S.A.! And speaking of pumpkins, the pumpkin king himself Jack Skellington has taken over Haunted Mansion Holiday and transformed it into a magnificent Nightmare Before Christmas spectacle! It is not to be missed, and if you visit at just the right time, you might even spot Jack himself along with Sally waving from the balcony. If you head over to Disney California Adventure Park, make sure you spend some time in Cars Land after the sun goes down to see all of the Haul-O-Ween fun and your favorite cars in some very cute costumes!

Denice, I can't wait for you to experience all there is at the Disneyland Resort! You will be swept up in the nostalgia and charm of Walt's original park. If you have any more questions about your planning, feel free to reach back out to us. We are always here for you at planDisney!

    Magic awaits!
