Welcome to planDisney! I’m so excited that you are here and planning an upcoming trip to Walt Disney World Resort! Whenever anyone in my family or friend group travels with me to a Disney Park, they know they don’t have to worry about a thing. Dining reservations, I’ve made them. Resort hotel reservation, already booked.
Lightning Lane Multi-Pass and Single-Pass, no problem. All you need to do is show up and be ready to go because nothing makes me happier than a well-executed vacation.
Speaking of which, Jordan, I’m sure it will make you happy to know that you and your friend can save the Galaxy together in the same time slot since you can book both of your Lightning Lane Single Passes for
Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind at the same time. As long as you and your friend are linked on the
Family and Friends list, before the Lightning Lane booking window opens, you should be able to purchase and book Lightning Lane Single Pass and Multi Pass selections for each other. Once linked, on the morning that you are eligible to purchase, you will be given the option to select anyone who is eligible (has a valid theme park ticket) and linked to you before making reservations. One note though, if you and your friend have different booking windows (Guests who are staying at a Resort Hotel or select Good Neighbor Hotels can book 7 days prior to check-in at 7 am and Guests staying off property are not able to book until 3 days prior at 7 am EST) you will need to wait until the later booking window opens up if you want to purchase together. So, for example, if you are driving from home and your friend is staying onsite, you would have to wait until your booking window opens up to book Lightning Lane Single Pass together; you couldn’t use her earlier window unless you were staying with her as a registered Guest.
