Can I link all my family’s dining reservations to my Disney app? We all want to know what everyone has going on. Thanks

Welcome back to planDisney, Becky! We're glad you're here!

I'm so excited to hear that you'll be visiting The Happiest Place on Earth in a few days! One of my favorite parts of the planning process is making advance dining reservations. I can often spend hours perusing menus online! A few of my favorite dining locations include Cafe Orleans and the Plaza Inn inside Disneyland Park and Wine Country Trattoria and Carthay Circle in Disney California Adventure Park.

Unlike the My Disney Experience app at Walt Disney World Resort, the Disneyland Mobile app does not have a Family & Friends feature to connect plans with other guests. Unfortunately, only the guest who booked the dining reservation can see it in their Disneyland app. However, you can send a screenshot of the confirmation to everyone in your traveling party so they can put it on their calendar.

If you plan to use Disney Genie+ during your trip, at least one person in your traveling party should link all the theme park tickets to their Disneyland account. Tickets can be linked to more than one account, so they should also link them to their own account if they have one. This way, you can make Lightning Lane reservations for your entire group all at once!

I hope this helps, Becky! Make sure to read up about all the seasonal offerings and attraction overlays at Disneyland Resort, and don't miss Haunted Mansion Holiday. It will have you shouting, “Season’s Screamings!”

I'm that mom who always has her ears perked at PTO meetings, in the grocery store aisle, or at my monthly Bunco club for an opportunity to give someone a planning tip to help make their vacation even more magical.
