    How do I link another family to MDE and include their minor child?

    Hi Beth! That’s a great question! I visited the Walt Disney World Resort in February with my family and our friends (two adults and two minor children). I’m not exactly a “techie” but I was able to complete the linking rather easily! I’ll walk you through the process using the My Disney Experience app.

    Open the My Disney Experience app on your mobile device. Tap the menu icon (three horizontal bars). Scroll down and tap “Profile.” At the top of the next screen tap “Family & Friends List” located toward the top of the screen. Then tap “Add a Guest.” You can then select one of three ways to link your friends including their minor children. I prefer to “Scan their linking code.” When you select that option, you’ll see an easy-to-follow list of instructions you and your Guests can follow to “link” to each other! That is how I could link my friends and their two kids to my “Family & Friends List.”

    By linking your family and friends, you can better manage common plans, attractions, and experiences. It’s particularly helpful when getting virtual queues and making Lightning Lane selections for everyone in your travel party!
