Welcome, Daryl!
Thanks so much for stopping by planDisney with your questions. With the holidays in full swing, planning a Disneyland Resort visit feels even more exciting and wrapped in magic. I'm glad you are getting your plans in place so your party can enjoy all the festive fun together. Linking tickets is a great way to make sure everyone can experience those
Lightning Lane attractions together, so let's walk through how to get everyone connected.
There are a few ways to link
tickets between accounts, depending on whether you are physically in the same place or not. Either way, it will just take a few quick taps in the
Disneyland app. When you open the app, tap the three-line icon in the bottom right-hand corner and select the "My Tickets & Passes" tile on the next screen. Here, you will be able to scroll through any tickets currently linked to your account. To link tickets to your account, tap the "+" in the top right-hand corner. Here, you will see a few options. You can choose "Camera" to simply scan the barcode of the passes you'd like to link, or if you are not together, you can choose "Type ID" to manually enter the ticket confirmation, located under the barcode itself. If both of you want to be able to book Lightning Lanes, you will both need to link each other's ticket to your account. If there are more members of your party, I highly recommend taking a few moments when you arrive to link to each other. This allows for maximum flexibility, where you can experience attractions as a group or split off into smaller groups depending on your priorities. My planDisney pals and I will typically take a few minutes when we arrive at the parks to link to each other. With just a few taps, we are good to go!
I can see that you have also asked about assistance via an online chat. Happy to report that there is an online
Guest Services chat available to use on the website and even in the app itself. Cast Members are available from 8:00 AM to 7:00 PM PST every day of the week. To access the chat on the website, tap the "Help" link at the very top right-hand corner of the homepage next to the search bar. A small question mark "Help" icon should be visible along the right-hand side of the screen. Even if you are outside of the Guest Services hours, you can log your question, and someone will get back to you when they are online. In the Disneyland app, tap the three-line icon in the bottom right-hand corner. Scroll down to the "Help & Feedback" section and choose "Chat with Us" to start a conversation. Similarly, they will get back to you as soon as they come online.
I hope this has been helpful! Don't forget that with your Lightning Lane Multi Pass, you have access to unlimited digital downloads of any
Disney PhotoPass photos captured during your park day. These make for some unforgettable memories! We love playing around with the PhotoPass Lenses in the app while we wait for attractions. These are fun filters and animations that add a dose of magic to your memories!
Daryl, I'm wishing you a magical visit! If you have any more questions, we are always here for you at planDisney.
See ya real soon!
