How would you link Disneyland tickets to the Disney app for 2 five year olds?

    Hey there, Brenda!

Welcome to planDisney and we appreciate you coming by with your question! Oh boy, it sounds like you have a visit to the Disneyland Resort coming up very soon with two young Mouseketeers! Since your young ones can't just call out "Oh, Toodles!" to summon up a personal smartphone device, they'll have to rely on you to show their tickets for Park entry. Thankfully, that's really easy and I'd be thrilled to help you prepare for your visit!

First of all, have you downloaded the Disneyland Mobile App yet? Any ticket that is linked to your account will show up within the app. If you purchased the children's tickets, they might already be there. If not, then you will need to link them to your account to have them show up in the app. If you have access to the kids' tickets, then open up the Disneyland Mobile App on your device and navigate to the "☰" Features Menu. Scroll down and press the "Link to Account" button. In the next screen, you may use your phone's camera to scan the bar codes of the tickets you would like to link to your account. They will then show up on your app and you may swipe left or right to switch between each ticket as they are scanned. Linking may also be done at the Disneyland website by selecting "Link Tickets" under the "My Disneyland" tab. With that method, you'll have to manually enter each ticket number, so I find the phone method more convenient.

You'll be visiting over the Halloween Season, which is my favorite time to come to the Disneyland Resort because I love all the spooky decorations and the numerous pumpkins you'll see everywhere! For a fun scavenger hunt, take the kids to the Downtown Disney District where they can participate in Pluto's Pumpkin Pursuit. If anyone in your group likes yummy Halloween themed foods, take a look at the Disney Parks Blog's Halloween Foodie Guide and pick out something nice for yourself! Oh, and be sure to check out the planDisney podcast episode about Mickey's Toontown, which is a wonderful place to let your five year olds run off some steam!

Brenda, I hope that answer was helpful for you with linking tickets to your account. Now that all your tickets are linked, you'll be easily able to purchase Genie+ and book Lightning Lanes for your group! I hope that you have a magical visit to the Happiest Place on Earth and please come on back if you have any other questions! You're always welcome at planDisney!

Wishing You a Great, Big, Beautiful Tomorrow!

Meet the Panelist: Al, California

Ahoy there from the heart of Steinbeck Country in central California! I've been visiting the Disneyland Resort since childhood and fell in love with the sense of absolute immersion that the Imagineers have achieved. My favorite attraction is Pirates of the Caribbean because where else can you go from a California day to an evening boat ride in the bayou with "salty old pirates"? I'm a veterinarian and an all-around Disney geek and enthusiast. I'd love to help you plan your next Disneyland trip! Learn More About Al
