How do I link my Disneyland hotel reservations to my Disney app? I linked my husbands theme park tickets to my app and they both came over in my name even though I scanned his ticket. Is that a problem?

Hi there, Cheryl. Welcome to planDisney. I’m so happy to see you’re planning an October trip to the Happiest Place on Earth. Festive fall decorations will be on full display throughout the Disneyland Resort, and there will be plenty of seasonal fall treats to savor!

When you made your Disneyland Hotel reservation, you should have received a confirmation email. It should contain your itinerary details as well as your reservation number. On Disneyland.com, you’ll log into your Disney account. On the top right, you’ll see “My Disneyland”. When you hover your cursor over it, you’ll see “My Hotel Reservations”. Once you click on it, you’ll be able to input your hotel reservation number to link your stay to your Disney account. After it’s been linked, you will be able to see your hotel reservation information on your Disneyland mobile app as well.

Hakuna matata, Cheryl, if your husband’s tickets show up with your name instead on your Disneyland mobile app. The ticket ID numbers should be different between yours and your husband’s. When you arrive at the Disneyland Resort, a Cast Member will take a photo of you when you scan your ticket for the first time at the Main Entrance turnstile. The same process will occur for your husband as well. Each of your tickets will now be linked with a photo. Sometimes Stitch can wreak havoc on the app, but you shouldn’t encounter issues when entering. In addition to having valid park tickets, just be sure you have park reservations for the day and park you’re visiting as well.

I hope this information is helpful for you, Cheryl. I can’t wait for you to enjoy all the pixie-dusted fun at the Disneyland Resort in October. As you continue your planning, please don’t hesitate to visit us on planDisney again. We’re all EARS!

    See ya real soon,
    Kiki
