If I link my Disney Visa to my KTTW card, will I still be able to take advantage of the cardholder discounts that are offered in the parks, such as the 10% off merchandise purchases? Or will I still need to show the card to receive the benefits?

    Hi Amanda!

You can link your Disney Visa to your Key to the World card for charging privileges, but you'll still need to show your actual card to receive the discount at the participating retailers.  There is nothing on your KTTW that indicates you are a Disney Visa holder, so that will need to be verified at the register with your actual credit card.

My tip?  Schedule a shopping trip to Downtown Disney mid-vacation so that you've had a chance to 'pre-shop' the theme parks for merchandise and make a 'shopping list.'  Then, I head to World of Disney to shop and save!  You'll find that many items are available at World of Disney where you can get your 10% discount!  I schedule the trip for mid-vacation so that if there is an item that I isn't available at World of Disney, then I still have time to head back and get that special item later in my trip!

Once you've finished shopping at Downtown Disney, get your purchases delivered to your resort (if staying on site) so that you can go hit the parks after your shopping excursion!  Easiest way to shop...hands down!

    Have a magical vacation!
