    Can I link a Disney gift card to my MagicBand so that I can use the gift card to pay for purchases in the park?

    Hi Melinda! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

    I love using Disney Gift Cards to help pay for our vacation. A lot of our family knows how much we love Disney and enjoy traveling there so for birthdays, holidays, and other special occasions we are often gifted with Disney Gift Cards!

    During our last trip to the Walt Disney World Resort you were not able to link your Disney Gift Cards to your MagicBands. However what we do is place a credit card on file at your Resort hotel. We use our MagicBands to “charge” all of our purchases to our room. The morning we check out we go to the front desk and ask them to apply all of our Disney Gift Cards to our account. They then deduct the balance of the Disney Gift Cards from our bill and our credit card is then only charged for any remaining balance!
